Engineering Subcontracting Manager (d/f/m)
has arisen within the Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg.
The "Resource and Subcontracting Mangement" department is responsible for all cross-functional business methods, concepts and stratgies in the scope of resource and subcontracting management in Engineering.
Within the frame of business operations management you will need to consolidate the complete overview beyond the technical development and you will need to understand our business processes in detail in order to change and improve the current ways of working.
That is why our contribution is key to the consistent and effective operation of Engineering and to our relationships with our customers and partners.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg.

As part of this team you will
• Be responsible for the independent development of concepts regarding cooperation with engineering suppliers as a decision template for the management of engineering
• Ensure the full implementation of strategies and concepts when working with engineering suppliers
• Ensure security and compliance guidelines when working with engineering suppliers
• Be responsible for the harmonization and improvement of subcontracting management within engineering
• Advice and be the support for engineering departments in cooperation with engineering suppliers
• Consolidate and report of subcontracting planning, performance and cost view
Your boarding pass
• You have a Diploma/master’s degree in the field of Aerospace Engineering or Industrial Engineering, General Business Administration, Economics or comparable
• You have experience in working with suppliers
• You have practical experience in a development-oriented industrial environment
• You have in-depth practical experience in project management through the use of various project management methods
• You are fluent in German & English

• You have an independent way of working with a strategic orientation
• You have a confident appearance and strong communication skills
• You are willing to travel regularly
