Industrial Automation Project Manager in Control Command & IT Production (d/f/m)
Tätigkeitsbeschreibung:
We are looking for an Industrial Automation Project Manager in Control Command & IT Production (d/f/m) to focus on digital technology, at the forefront of research and innovation in Hamburg. You will join a team of 30 people in the Industrial Automation & Robotics department in charge of shop floor applications.
This position consists of supporting or managing European projects in the field of production IT related to Industry 4.0 such as connectivity of production resources, machine performance, process control, predictive maintenance, edge computing, alert management, cybersecurity of resources etc.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your role and mission
- You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
- You prove the value of new technologies to establish business cases. Updates the company guidelines and policies regarding the use of a specific technology or methodology.
- You drive the update of the learning framework based on the known technology.
- You advise on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology.
- You monitor technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment.
- You guide and support the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies.
- You monitor technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.
Your boarding pass:
- You have an university degree in the field of engineering or similar
- You bring experience in automation and production is a prerequisite
- You have knowledge of SCADA and mainly Aveva and/or WinCC
- If you have knowledge of IoTs and their software or hardware architecture (PLC, NC, communication protocols) would be a plus
- You are curious, rigorous and willing to learn
- Pragmatism and team spirit in a transverse environment
- Fluency in English and French would be a plus
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
