IT Architect - Material Logistics (d/f/m)

In order to contribute to efficiency and to lead the information systems changes, the Master Data & Analytics team is looking for you as an IT Architect - Material Logistics (d/f/m).
The Material logistics IT department is a main provider of IT solutions for Customer Services for spares and kits supply chain & production (sales, distribution, procurement, warehousing, production, quality, planning) in a worldwide environment for a large community of internal and external customer users. The full supply chain is then addressed in various projects.
The mission is to continuously support and advise the after sales business about any information system topic. We manage a portfolio of applications (mostly based on SAP solutions) out of which several are business critical.
Within Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Customer Services is responsible to ensure support, airworthiness and services for the growing Airbus fleet in Service.
The objective of Customer Services is to support safety of in-service operations and to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction through the most complete portfolio of services. It is also to contribute to customers’ profitability through efficiency enhancement.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- You will shape the Architecture vision and roadmap for Service Lines/ Products while ensuring alignment with Airbus information technology strategy (enterprise architecture, security, digitalization, cloud & DevOps approach, mobility, sustainability, high availability…)
- You will analyze and understand business processes and related challenges (full digitalization, mobile access, real time production, 100% availability, 100% quality…)
- You will plan, design and integrate IT system components including hardware, software and services to achieve business objectives
- You will deliver & maintain a single, harmonized and consistent set of IS / IT tools to support Airbus processes, master data management and integration across our systems in line with the AIRBUS standards and enterprise architecture guidelines
- You will collaborate with other IT Architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver globally optimal solutions leveraging upon the best technologies available
Desired skills and qualifications
- You hold a degree in IT or a similar qualification and have several years of experience in an IT related function (ideally in IT architecture).
- You bring SAP knowledge in at least one of the following modules: SD, MM, PP, WM and IBP or APO.
- You are experienced in component integration and in designing IT products.
- You bring knowledge in Information Security Management System.
- You are a customer-oriented team player who brings excellent communication skills that enable you to liaise effectively with our stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English. German and/ or French are a plus.
