The teams are responsible for the system installation design of the aircraft for all Airbus programmes. We generate different designs using various tools and techniques.
The design is delivered to various stakeholders such as:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Production
- Airworthiness and International Authorities

These role are also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

#Electrical System Installation Design Responsible (d/f/m)
- Design and Validation of Electrical harnesses and Equipment installation with associated Design Principles from Architecture to Detailed Design phases up to Manufacturing support and In-service activities under the relevant regulation, installation processes/methods/tools and procedures.
- Integration, Installation and Validation of the electrical harnesses and equipment to secure the entire electrical functionality across the whole vehicle
- Operational management of multifunctional team & suppliers monitoring
#Electrical System Installation Detailed Designer (d/f/m)
- Design of Electrical harnesses and Equipment installation with associated Design Principles from Architecture to Detailed Design phases up to Manufacturing support and In-service activities under the relevant regulation, installation processes/methods/tools and procedures
- Integration and installation of the electrical harnesses and Equipment to secure the entire electrical functionality across the whole vehicle
- Operational activities such as supplier steering, input validation, manufacturing alignment and support to production
In both positions, you will develop future optimized models for innovative aircraft configurations, newest structures and electric systems. The solutions must allow rapid configuration trade studies during conceptual design, and optimized solutions required for certification.
You will collaborate across transnational project teams and disciplines to secure multi-disciplinary design solutions meeting customer requirements while delivering on time, cost and quality.
Your skills and qualifications
- Educated to a Master level degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Good knowledge in installation design tools (CATIA)
- Knowledge in programming or data science would be an advantage
- Able to take decisions, communicate and influence effectively, and build trustful relationships
- Ability for complex problem solving and innovation
- Team oriented empowered mindset with strong customer focus
- Fluency in English mandatory, good German skills beneficial
- This role could involve some travel for business worldwide
