Supply Chain Digital Business Improvement Manager (d/m/f)

As part of the Procurement Business Operations & Strategy department, the Business Transformation team’s mission is to:

  • Lead transformation activities within Procurement Operations, focusing on people, knowledge management, digitalisation and collaboration with our partners to ensure business satisfaction
  • Establish new ways of working including communication, whilst driving the change management

Within the Business Transformation team, the PO Digital Cell is currently ramping up to drive the 6 pillars of the Procurement Operations digital transformation:

  • operating model
  • digital roadmap and portfolio management
  • transformation projects
  • data & analytics
  • run mode support
  • skills and knowledge management

Accountabilities

You will be a key member in the strategic PO Transformation. In your role, you will join the PO digital cell to lead key digital initiatives and define Procurement Operations digital landscape of tomorrow, working in close collaboration with:

  • The Procurement and Quality digital & business capabilities
  • The procurement operations process owners (in particular Control Supplier process), topics leaders and project leaders
  • Key users in Procurement Operations

Dimensions

The PO perimeter comprises more than 1200 associates and is a truly global and growing organization. The collaboration and communication will not be limited to this organization, but needs to be addressed internally and externally to stakeholders as well.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Capture the digital solution needs of the Quality First project, SCORE project and other Procurement Operations projects and key users
  • Act as an interface between the projects (Quality First, SCORE etc) and the Procurement and Quality Digital & Business Capabilities to identify implementation opportunities and integrate the needs to the PO digital roadmap
  • Validate the business architecture scenarios with the Digital & Business Capabilities
  • Ensure the alignment with the other contributors of the PO digital roadmap
  • Coordinate and contribute to the detailed need specification (user story writing), business acceptance and EIS of the new functionality / capability
  • Act as business interface for sprint planning activities and during the development sprints
  • Monitor progress of DDMS activities with impact on PO and provide regular visibility and project/ process status updates (RAG, Actions, Issues/Risks, planned activities, tracking of milestone progress to plan) to all stakeholders
  • Build and strengthen relationships with the internal customers and stakeholders in order to contribute to the POx improvement strategy and support efficient Project deployment
  • Contribution to relevant forums and projects as appropriate
  • This role will give you the opportunity to discover many key strategic projects and activities such as Step-Up, Quality First and the Quality Transformation, Digital Design and Manufacturing Services and developyour network within and beyond Procurement Operations.
