Systems Engineer for Cabin Systems (d/f/m)

In Buxtehude we work on cabin systems that create unique flight experiences and we need you to extend this innovative and agile path. As Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the complete system development lifecycle. You will work in a dynamic and international business environment where your proven experience, expertise and knowledge directly impacts day-to-day business operations.

In addition, there are arrangements for mobile working. On occasion you will need to travel to other Airbus sites, customers or suppliers. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You will develop strategies for the system validation and verification (V&V)
  • You will be responsible for accepting the customer input system specification
  • You will define system requirements, designs and architectures
  • You will develop system integration solutions based on the system specification and other connected systems
  • You will accompany the product integration and commissioning phase together with the customer
  • You will be part of a motivate development team that is co-located onsite in Buxtehude

Desired skills and qualifications

  • You hold a university degree in Systems/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Avionics or comparable
  • You have at least 3 years´ experience in systems design and integration of systems with multiple equipments
  • Your experience includes MBSE technology (e.g. SysML) and "INCOSE" Systems Engineering principles
  • You already bring experiences with Agile and DevOps development practices and tools (e.g Jira, Github)
  • Ideally, you have experiences with the ARP 4754 / DO 254 / DO 178 lifecycle
  • You are open to further individual developments (e.g. System- / Cabin-Architect)
  • You have good communication skills in English
